high-grade fever which lasts for > 5 days. Fever is characteristically resistant to antipyretics

What is seen on hands and feet in Kawasaki disease?
red palms of the hands and the soles of the feet which later peel
Where is lymphadenopathy seen in Kawasaki disease?
cervical lymphadenopathy
How is Kawasaki disease diagnosed?
a clinical diagnosis as there is no specific diagnostic test
What is the management of Kawasaki disease?
- high-dose aspirin
- intravenous immunoglobulin
- echocardiogram (rather than angiography) is used as the initial screening test for coronary artery aneurysms
